An Unusual Termination of Pyo-Pneumo-Thorax Secondary to Pneumonia

Previous History.?It appears that a month before admission to the hospital the child had had an attack of high fever with cough and dyspncea which lasted for a fortnight. After the subsidence of the fever and the other signs of the disease, the mother of the child noticed a small swelling on the left side of the back, and it began to increase to its present size.
